**** Kimono and yukata ****



着物(きもの)はもちろん日本(にほん)民族衣装(みんぞくいしょう)ですが、その(ひと)つに()浴衣(ゆかた)()というものがあります。
浴衣(ゆかた)一般(いっぱん)木綿製(もめんせい)で、とても(すず)しいので(なつ)()ます。また、()のとおり「入浴後(にゅうよくご)にきる(ふく)」として、(いま)旅館(りょかん)などでよく()かけますね。
(なつ)は、浴衣(ゆかた)()花火大会(はなびたいかい)夏祭(なつまつ)りにでかける(わか)(ひと)大勢(おおぜい)います。

                                    

The kimono is of course Japan’s traditional clothing. One of these is the yukata.
The yukata is generally made from cotton, so it is very cooling and thus worn during summer. Also, according to the kanji, as ‘clothes worn after taking a bath’, yukatas are even now a common sight at ryokans.
During summer, many young people wear yukatas to fireworks displays and summer festivals.
